"I've never made cookies without adding to this mix - but for Christmas cookies we added 1/8 tsp of orange extract. For chocolate cookies we added blocks of unsweetened chocolate and sometimes crushed (to tiny flecks) pecans. Refrigerate the dough to make thick cookies. Also - with the chocolate they can be rolled very thin for perferct cookie cutter cookies (valentines hearts)."
