"I bake and this product is awesome! My husband would rather eat it than his store bought bread, he doesn't like homemade. He likes this though! Yummy, some of the best bread I have ever made and slices beautifully!"

"After getting really sick and finding out I needed to eat gfree, I found this at whole foods. I substituted milk for water and followed the recipe. This is BY FAR the best bread I've EVER had. No kidding! Highly recommend this and will be trying all of the other products by this brand."

"This has become my family's favorite bread (I'm the only one with wheat problem). I make it twice weekly - with extra light olive oil (4T, as called for in the recipe) and 7 tablespoons of flax seed (measured before grinding in the coffee grinder). The flax seed adds color, nutrition and the oil from the flax makes the bread even smoother. "

"My Kroger store just recently started carrying this bread mix. I've tried every bread mix they sell which is a pretty good selection. This is without a doubt the BEST GF bread I have made and worth the time to do it because the frozen loaves of other brands just don't cut it. I have made it with cow milk and soy milk and I can't tell the difference. I prefer canola oil for fat than butter mainly because it's just one more step to melt the butter. Tastes the same either way. Texture is closest to wheat bread. I also like Bob's Red Mill Wonderful Bread and I think Bob's toasts better for some reason. I'll buy GF Pantry from now on esp since it's $2 less on this site. Cooking notes: I find that it takes more time to rise than it says on the box and I usually make a foil tent to cover the loaf after about 10-15 min of baking so that the top crust doesn't burn. When it is cool I slice it up and freeze it and it keeps very well that way. "

"So I made this bread last night and I must say... I LOVE IT!. I'm 19 years old. I have been have GI problems and thought that it could be connected with my high gluten intake (also some family members have celiac disease) So I have started trying gluten free foods.. It took forever to find this mix but FINALLY found it yesterday!.. I changed some of what it calls for... It asks for 1 and 3/4th cup water or milk... ( I used 1/4 milk and heated THAT up and added sugar...for the yeast) I did 3/4 cup milk and 1/2 cup of lukewarm water... I ket the yeast rise before adding.. I used a mixer (but it isn't heavy duty so only a few high speed turns worked) after that I used my hands to mix it up... Then I put it in the oven @ 180 deg. (preheat...once done preheating turn off) I let it sit for 30 minutes or 40 minutes. Then I baked it at the temp it calls for (I cooked it about 15 minutes) When the crust looked (light) brown I took it out and buttered it then put it in the oven until it was darker.. Then buttered it again.. I split the loaf in HALF and put it in the fridge.... After about 30 minutes or so I took out and sliced.. I placed wax paper between each slice and then stored it in a plastic bag in the fridge.. It DOES NOT crumble AT ALL.. Next time I try this I am thinking of adding a bit of salt to the mix though but it does taste amazing.. Especially buttered and warmed 15 seconds in the microwave!!! "

"Out of all the GF bread mixes I have tried, this is by far my favorite in texture and taste. A hint to others who may wish to try this: I have found that substituting up to 1/4 cup of teff flour for the same amount of the dry mix, not only adds more nutrient content to the final product, but also provides a more crumble-free texture with very little change in flavor or color. Either way, those sensitive to gluten are very fortunate to have such a high-quality product available."

"Made this last night for the first time, and it is absolutely delicious! The dough was just like bread with gluten. I sliced it up after it cooled, wrapped it, and put it in the freezer. It was so good that I had to try making a sandwich today. I toasted it first. Tasted great, but my bread crumbled right away. I sliced it fairly thin, maybe that was my problem. I am a newborn in the G/F world so any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. This is by far the best G/F bread I have tried so far. "

"I just so want to thank you for the products that you make. I think it must take a great amount of time to develop foods that are gluten free and as good as yours are. I used the favorite sandwich bread mix today, on the recommendation of a woman who was browsing the gluten free shelves as I was. She said this was the only gluten-free bread she could stand. Well, I made it today and it is amazing. It is hard to believe it has no wheat flour in it. It is much, much better than ordinary white bread. I look forward to having a sandwich again! I will definitely buy this product again. I also like your cheese pizza. I am going to venture out a bit and try some of the other products you have. If they are anything like the bread, I am sure it will be more than satisfactory. Thank you so much for working hard to provide a product for the many gluten intolerant people. It makes giving up wheat a lot easier. Nancy, St. Louis, MO "

"Awesome mix! Finally brought the joy of bread back into my life. Very easy to make - even if you don't have a bread machine. Bakes beautifully in a Pampered Chef loaf pan."

"This is the best! We have tried many different kinds of gluten-free bread over the past 5 years due to my daughter's wheat allergy. Most of them taste like cardboard, but this is the one that our whole family enjoys. I just made a fresh loaf a few hours ago....still smells like delicious homemade bread. Great for sandwiches, toast, and french toast."

"This item ROCKS! I made the bread as described on the box and added a bit of dried rosemary. After baking I decided to experiement with storage options besides freezing. So I sliced some of the loaf, then wrapped the sliced and unsliced parts together in one sheet of in wax paper before it was completely cool. It sliced beautifully, by the way. I left it on the counter for a couple of days (eating bits each day of course!), then decided to put a couple of slices in the frige overnight to see how they'd hold up. It worked wonderfully so I put the remaining wax paper wrapped chunk and presliced pieces in the frige, that was two days ago. Today I sliced the rest and made toast for breakfast. It was really really yummy. I have two last slices remaining in my frige for toasting or making a sandwich later. I initially made the loaf seven days ago; it lasted for a week and remained moist and yummy. Like all non-wheat breads it can crumble, but a light toasting helps to keep that from happening if you are using the slices for something that would not accomodate a bit of a crumble."
