"Just tried these with optional chopped pecans. Absolutely delicious! Be sure to remove from the oven when just a few crumbs are still sticking to the toothpick so they are a bit chewy and gooey. I served with coconut flavored coconut milk ice cream and chocolate sauce -- tasted like a Mounds bar. So good! "

"This mix may be why my kids never felt deprived growing up in a gluten free household. I always make a double batch. This way it fits in my 9x13" Pyrex dish very well. My favorite brownie mix before or since my celiac diagnosis. Instead of any kind of frosting I put squares of dark Ghiradelli or round Droste dark chocolate pastilles for a truly decadent treat. On each of those (one for each serving) I add a pecan half which toasts perfectly while the brownies bake. I don't like to mix them in, as one child doesn't like them and can pick them off. While they cook, I find that it's best to clear space in the freezer (I put a folded dishtowel there) to let it sit for an hour before cutting for those who become impatient from exposure to luscious chocolate aroma while it bakes. A family favorite!"

"Our family favorite, against all other brownie mixes, GF or containing wheat. I have virtually stopped making brownies from scratch. We add a handful of coarse chopped Belgian chocolate along with walnuts, to deepen the flavor and give a little more fudgy treat. The mix is less sweet than other brands, which is preferred in our family. Moist style, holds its shape well when cool. In an air free container, they remain fresh tasting over several days.... if they last that long! :-)"
