La Tortilla Factory #: 952019

Description: Teff and millet, gluten-free grains that result in great texture and flavor, are used to produce a soft, pliable, smooth-textured wrap that is perfect for burritos, quesadillas, wraps, mini-pizzas, or any other creation you can come up with. Teff is high in protein and has an excellent amino acid profile, making it a more nutritious gluten-free grain. Our teff wraps have a light texture and rich, earthy flavors with a hint of honey. Just heat and eat!
Ingredients: Water, tapioca flour, whole grain ivory teff flour, whole grain millet flour, canola oil, soy lecithin, colloid powder (cellulose gum, maltodextrin, carrageenan), contains less than 2% of each of the following guar gum, sea salt, honey, baking powder (monocalcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch), to maintain freshness (sorbic acid and calcium proprionate).

"Absolutely delicious!!! We've tried different brands of wraps and these are by the far the best I've tasted to date. Wish shipping was a bit cheaper but well worth the purchase. We have discovered that toasting them via the stove top is the best option. The craving of burritos is in the past! "

"I have been looking for a good gluten free wrap forever. I don't love most gluten free bread, as I feel like I am chewing on the bottom of the ocean floor. These wraps are a great alternative to a regular gluten free sandwich. They are out of this world. I stuff with sandwich items, and they are wonderful. If you haven't tried them.... you really should. Hope this helps!!"

"These are absolutely THE best gluten free tortillas I have ever had. They must be heated in order for them to be pliable. If you are Gluten free and miss burritos or soft-shell tacos, then this is the one for you."

"They are excellent...... I spray each side with a little pam and heat a couple of minutes on each side in skillet and they wrap beautifully. Make breakfast wraps or veggie wraps, among many other kinds of wrap."

"I've not ordered them from you yet but I have had the product and it is EXCELLENT. They are soft & flexible and don't fall apart when wrapping them up. A far superior product than the other F4L brown rice wraps!"

" I LOVE these!! Even my husband who can eat anything he wants, has switched from dinner rolls to these huge teff wraps! They work all right as filled, sandwich-wraps, but when my husband sauted them in a skillet and served them with scrambled eggs...WOW! You'll find that they're tastier and chewier when sauted on both sides and torn into managable pieces as a side dish. I like them best plain, but my husband prefers them with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. When they're warmed in a skillet and torn, they split into flaky layers. Yum! "

"these taste good (very close to flour tortillas, or what i remember of them at least... even have that make your hands smell like them for hours thing like flour tortillas). now the thing that i have issues with is that some times they break and other times they hold together fine. i had one package of them recently and they held together well... then the one i just got wont hold up. i had gotten their brown teff wraps a while ago and they also held up better at least in the one package i got (but they tasted pretty bad). if you rip them into quarters you can just make mini wraps and they won't tear so bad"

"These are yummy. Good sub if you are looking for something to eat like a flour tortilla. Best if lightly pan fried (like for a quesadilla). "

LAURA, WEWAHITCHKA, FL
"Not good as a wrap, and the consistency is strange, and they break. I wiped both sides with olive oil, a little garlic powder and sesame seeds, lightly. Baked them at 350 for about 20 minutes on each side, til they are crispy. Then break them up and use as chips for hummus, or alone. Much better."

DAVID, WOODSTOCK, CT
"We love these. We have also used Brown Rice wraps, but like the texture of these better. We have found that a great way to soften them for is steaming. Just lay them on a steamer basket in a shallow pan (just enough water to get steam going) and a few seconds later they are warm and soft and flexible. "
